Individual Psychotherapy and Counseling

For adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, dealing with loss or other life transition issues, wanting self-exploration, or looking to increase personal growth.

My goal as a psychotherapist is to take a holistic approach to help you gain insight into your feelings, understand your behavior, and reduce emotional suffering and dissatisfaction, so that you can make lasting, positive changes.

My Approach

Together, we look at how you view and feel about yourself and your interpersonal relationships. I help you become aware of the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are holding you back from having the life and relationships you want.

Couples and Marriage Counseling

For couples who want to foster greater communication, connection, trust, and intimacy in their relationships.

As relationships evolve, sometimes old ways of connecting and communicating no longer leave couples feeling satisfied.

In our sessions, together we look at:

  • Your needs and wants and what’s in the way of getting those needs met
  • The meaning of your relationship and beneficial ways of relating to each other
  • How you communicate and your blinds spots to effective communication and intimacy
  • Where you both get triggered emotionally and how you can better manage your reactions

My Approach

My approach to couples therapy is to be direct and interactive. I encourage each partner to take responsibility for how he or she is contributing to what’s not working. We look at how each of you has played a role in co-creating the relationship dynamics. We identify and understand how fears, projections, or signing may be interfering with each partner’s ability to connect in honest and open ways.

In addition to weekly sessions, I offer couples intensives for those who want to create meaningful movement in a focused, concentrated period of time.

These multi‑hour, multi‑day couples intensives are a fully immersive, differentiation‑based experience designed to break through entrenched emotional gridlock. Unlike weekly therapy, intensives create a concentrated, high‑pressure and high‑support environment where couples confront long‑avoided, deeply rooted patterns while focusing on self‑growth and becoming stronger partners. By working in focused three‑hour sessions across consecutive days, we avoid the “reset” that often happens between weekly appointments. This sustained momentum allows us to move quickly into core wounds, accelerate insight, and create meaningful change that simply isn’t possible in traditional therapy formats.

Sex Therapy

Guidance to couples and individuals who want to explore their sexuality, rekindle and enjoy satisfying intimacy, as well as deepen their love and connection.

As an AASECT-certified sex therapist with education, training, and experience in the field of human sexuality as well as psychotherapy, I take a holistic approach to assess your concerns and issues specific to sexual problems, looking for ways that will allow you to improve/enhance your sexual health and relationship(s) through a variety of talk therapy and “non-touch” therapeutic methods.

I look at the sexuality of the person within the context of his or her daily life, including beliefs, attractions, culture, health, psychology, and unique erotic profile.

My stance is sex-positive and affirming. I support personal and relational satisfaction and celebrating connection and pleasure. I believe that people benefit when they reduce their levels of guilt and shame, allowing them to learn to celebrate their sexuality, their bodies, and their connections to it.

  • Navigating intimacy with partners
  • Gaining tools to talk about sexual desires
  • Sexual trauma
  • Kink friendly
  • Infidelity
  • Concerns about sexual desire or arousal
  • Concerns about sexual interests or sexual orientation
  • Erectile or ejaculation issues
  • Trouble reaching orgasm
  • Painful intercourse

My Approach

I believe sexuality is an important component of self-expression, deserving of the attention given to other emotional issues. I understand that talking about issues surrounding sex can be extremely sensitive for many.

My goal is to create a comfortable and safe environment for clients to explore issues of sexuality and gender expression, resolve and confront sexual problems, and improve sexual relationships and awareness.
